Laura Minning was born in Virginia and lived in Georgia and Connecticut before attending college in Massachusetts. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Studies from Bradford College. She’s also traveled throughout North America, Europe and Asia.

Laura's publishing credits are equally extensive and diverse. She's been published in various national anthologies and on-line, received two awards in merit for her poetry by The National Library of Poetry, and was granted membership into the International Who’s Who in Poetry for 2005 by Poetry.com. She's additionally published one play, two books of poetry, and numerous articles.

Laura believes her third and latest book, a verbal collage, is her best one yet. The collection focuses on love and loss, regret and resilience, and various other topics.

Laura strongly endorses organizations like The National Federation for the Blind, and she’s a ardent believer in therapy through the arts.
